aaahh..the sweet sounds of silence

After putting this rowdy duo down for naps, I do enjoy the sweet sounds of silence in my cute and quiet little place, as the trade winds lightly blow through, rustling the leaves of the coconut trees outside.

And, while Tex looks equally sweet napping...he sure doesn't sleep as heavily as his partner in crime...and I don't dare interrupt this lovely silence. It will happen on it's own soon enough. And then, I'm sure we'll be up to some more silliness around here.

Warning...this post is Dirt-E. ;-)

I mean really, who wouldn't have fun trapesing around a taro patch on a saturday morning?Catching baby frogs together...
And washing off in a stream?

Mother nature, you have the corner on the market when it comes to wholesome family fun. I'm so glad we are friends. Thanks for sharing with us today!
We can't wait to do it again soon!

SSS

Which stands for Sorry So Slow. ;-) Do remember ever writing that on notes in Junior High? Actually I think it also stood for Sorry so Sloppy. ;-)

Hahaha, which I will appologize for both of those on this post right now. I just need to post me some material up in here because I am falling soooooooo far behind, that I have lost the will and motivation to write anything. I think all you bloggity bloggers know how that goes.

So here are a few photos of my awesome munchkins, and a funny story or two, that probably doesn't even match the photos.

We played at the Arizona Memorial one day while my bestest and her sister were visiting us. In Eden's words it was "Super fun!!" She is very into using the word "super" these days. As in, "Mom, I am super sad." Or "Mom, I want candy super bad." "Let's go to the beach Mom. It will be super fun." or "Mom, if I can't play with my friends/have gum/watch a movie etc. I will be super sad" Hahahahaha! Or, the other day when I came home from Wal-Mart and had some fabric in the bag. Eden was digging through the bag and pulled the fabric out and exclaimed, "Whoa Mom! This is super cute!"
And speaking of a funny Eden-ism. We went to the PCC together the other day. If you have ever been there, you will better understand what I am talking about. They have several tour guides, and many of them speak Chinese or Japanese. Well, basically you know what a tour looks like. A mass of people following the guide, who is walking backwards telling the followers about things.
So, we happened to be walking behind an Asian speaking tour. The tour guide suddenly turned around and it a loud voice said, "Hoi- Ee, chin seen wah. E E hoi en chin soy." (Or something like that.)
As soon as she did, Eden turned around and in a "super loud" voice, immitated her, while pointing her arms straight out to the side. And as soon as Eden finished her immitation she looked at me with a super confused look on her face and said, "Mom! Why'd she do that??" I couldn't stop laughing. Sure wish you could have been there to see it, cause it was a million more times funny to see than to read I am sure!
Off to play with my monkey now! We'll catch up more later!
