Did I Ever Tell You About This?

Probably not...since I was having way too much fun hanging out with family while they were in town. There was just not time for blogging.

So here, for you faithful viewers (thanks Mom). Haha...no, I know a few other friends and family read this too and care what we have been up to. So thanks guys for your love. ;-)

ANYWHOooo...Here are pics from our fun over-nighter date!! :-) I am the luckiest gal in the world to be married to such a fun guy, and mothered by an awesome lady who agreed to baby-sit my two rascals, along with my equally awesome baby brother! Thanks guys, it was sooooo rejuvenating!

Dinner at one of our favorite all-you-can-eats THE OCEANARIUM

We went here for our 3rd wedding anniversary a few years ago and it's just as delicious. Actually, wait it was more delicious cause they have added stuff. My favorite? Well, the chocolate fountain with pineapple chunks, maybe the sushi bar, king crab legs...

Here is our dessert plates. ...okay, well some of our dessert plates.Though, there was probably only 2 or 3 things on these plates that we actually finished off. Most desserts weren't that great. But the chocolate fountain...amazing!

After stuffing ourselves silly, we went for a long walk back to the other end of Waikiki to get ourselves checked into our sa-weet ghetto hotel. But, really I thought it was pretty cute since it was decorated in aqua and orange...my favorite colors!
They were supposed to have given us a king bed...but they were out. So, they gave us 2 fulls (thanks) and Jonathon was sweet enough to push them together for us.
But, it doesn't take much to keep us happy. Just some cable TV and peace and quiet for an evening.

We saw a few fun shows on the Waikiki strip. I stopped at a shop at International Market place. Jonathon hates shopping with me there because sales people are pushy, and I'm too nice. So, they think I wanna buy something...but I don't. I'm just looking. Like the lady who didn't understand that i was just looking at her necklaces. She kept telling me how pretty they were on me. I kind of liked them, and thought about what I might be able to wear them with. She tried to haggle a price with me. We started at $60. I said, I can't afford that much. She said, how much? I said, I am not buying anything tonight. She got more pushy...HOW MUCH? Well, I can't spend more than $10. She said, How about $20? I'll meet you have way, lets say $15, she says. I say, no thank you and start walking off cause she is getting all crazy on me. She throws the necklace in a bag and says, FINE!!! You can have it for $10!!! I tell her I still wasn't sure if I even wanted it as I walked away. She said, "Why you look at my stuff and no buy? Why you come and not buy?!! You are a stupid shopper!" To which I replied, "Not really, because I still have my money and you don't." Then I walked away.

Hmmm. what else did we do?

Oh ya, we saw the basketball man, and a few other street performers. Basketball man was cool, but kind of bugged me how he asked everyone for at least a $10 donation at the end, but $15 or $20 would be better. He said if we are only going to give him a couple dollars, he would rather we keep our money. To each their own I guess. You can check him out on youtube if you are so inclined.
Enjoyed the rest of the evening in our cheap hotel watching a few of the 5 channels they offered and played a few rounds of BeJeweled since the Internet didn't work. Which it's probably best that there wasn't much on TV and no Internet...because we have been known to stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning watching pointless stuff on tv. Well, I guess if you consider the show "I shouldn't be alive" or "Cold Case Files" pointless.

The next morning...

An underwater photo shoot with our own personal photographer...also known as the 10 second timer.
Breakfast at Perry Boy Smorgy's delicious All you Can eAt breakfast where we were joined by several delightful birds who perched next to our table. Killed some time at the Apple Store...super fun!

Then rented one of these puppies and drove it the 3 hour drive home.On the way we took a quick dip in the water by the blow hole on the East side...Jonathon has always wanted to swim there. It was BEAUTIFUL...too bad I had water droplets on my lens. And on to home! Eden loved riding in the "motorcycle" as she called it.A fantastic way to celebrate the past 6 years since this day.
