Not sure where to begin...

I think I have close to 500 new photos in my computer, proving how much fun we and the kids had fun this past week and a half while my sister was visiting. Which makes it hard to even know what to start posting about! ;-)

China Town bubble drinking?

Getting blown around in the wind on the most windy day the Pali Lookout has ever seen!

Camping?
Beaching?
Pillow Fighting?
Kahuku Grilling?
Snorkeling?

Shaved Icing?

Dinosauring at the mall? Costco Sampling?Tantilus-ing?

Shopping?
Hula-ing?

Driving?

And I can't forget to mention how fun it was to have her friends here with her. What is better than 1 auntie visiting?????

3 Aunties!!!

They were very cute, polite and helpful! They washed the dishes even when none of the dishes in the sink were theirs! Their Mamma's would be proud.

Well, for now here is a taste. And if I get around to it, I'll post something better including stories later. But for now, suffice it to say...we had a TON of fun. And I miss my sis real bad now.

Dashboard Ornament

A new family photo!!!

I have been wanting new family photos for what seems like forever. My awesome ward just had an equally awesome ward camp the past few days (photos of that to be posted soon)...and as a gift to each of the families they took family photos of each of us and gave us an 8x10! They set up 3 or 4 photographers at different posts and you could pick the spot you wanted for some fun family photos. Here is a taste of what I got. I can't wait to see how the rest turned out when my cd shows up!!!

Just because we wanted to...

This morning after attempting to put down a fussy Tex for a morning nap in which he refused to fall asleep for, I said to Eden, "Do you wanna go to the zoo today?" Of course, she said "Yes!" And 30 minutes later we were on the bus with a back pack full of granola bars and peanut butter honey sandwiches. And though the bus ride back home was a little crazy with 2 kiddos ready for dinner and bed, I'm still glad we went. Especially since they were tucked in by 6:30 tonight!

I couldn't believe Tex is big enough to stand on the little step at the monkey exhibit and see over the wall. I just can not believe it!
He didn't sit in the stroller, but instead just followed Eden and I all around the park. Though it feels like new found freedom for me, it is bitter sweet to realize again that my baby isnt' a baby.

As the bus pulled up to the Windward Mall, Eden looked out the window and said, "Hey Mom! Let's go to the mall. I wanna go to the mall." And I said, "You want to go to the mall? Instead of the zoo? Are you kidding me?"

"Yesssssss" She told me with a silly little grin on her face. Almost as silly as this one.

Just incase....

Hi Friends!

I just read this post from my friend, Brooke. Her Dad is a Lymphoma cancer survivor. He had a bone marrow transplant a year ago and is doing awesome. You can actually read about his awesome success story that she posted on her own blog a few months ago here.
She and her sisters wanted to participate in the Light the Night Walk, raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in hope to help find better treatments and cures for blood cancers so that patients can live better, longer lives.

She is such a great friend, I just wanted to help her spread the word from here. I know money is tight for most of us these days, but I know many of you who know my friend, and I imagine a few of you sweet softies would love to donate a dollar or 2 to a great cause if you could.

It's easy and secure. So if you would like to, just go here.
