One of the days we were in Utah, we were able to go to the Discovery Kids Museum at Gateway with all the Parker cousins. I'd been there once before with Eden, just before she turned 1. It was a lot of fun. We met Elmo,
It was fun to go back there with Jonathon and Tex. This time Eden was able to do a lot more things, and Tex enjoyed the same things Eden liked when we were there in March '08. They had changed it a bit, added some, deleted some. But, when you are with your cousins, it just doesn't get more fun!
Creating a play! Kristine taught Tex how to click his tongue...it was soooooo cute! I was pretty impressed with how quickly he caught on. The kids (and us adults) had fun creating still frame movies.

And... I think since I have time this afternoon, I'll post more photos from this outing. They won't be in any special order though. And I may just post a few photos from the first time Eden and I went there in March '08! See if you can tell who is who? ;-)
It was funny watching ALL THE GUYS create this little "many man's handy work". The pipes were stuck to the wall magnetically. They arranged them so you could put a ball in one end, and it would do these fancy jumping tricks from pipe to pipe all the way to the other end. It was pretty amusing to watch.
Where is that child's mother??? Who lets their kid climb around on stuff...really!
the mainland has such cool discovery centers!!! my kids still mention the one we went to in december of 2008 in oregon. so fun!! i am really enjoying all these pics!!
A stay-at-home mom, who loves her kids and husband and life like crazy!
A favorite quote:
“I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed some one's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."~Marjorie Hinckley
